Today is going by at a snails pace...a relief after feeling like a I've been caught in a whirlwind the past few days.  We are in Cabo San Lucas at a very funny little place.  The resort that we have for the next week...we move there this afternoon.  We learned of a little place just down the road from it and since airfares were considerably less flying yesterday rather than today, we checked in here just for one night.  It's clean, we have a large 'suite', but it's just quite different from your usual motel.  Walls are mustard color stucco.  I noted instructions for "paper only" were written on the wall just above the rim of the bathroom waste can with a sharpie.  The owner has even decided he'll drive us down the road to our hotel this afternoon.  It's a very layed back place.  I think just having no responsibility all of the sudden seems to have slowed the clock way down.  I'm looking forward to this time together and the rest and refreshment.

We had several curveballs this week.  One major one was realizing that we needed to quickly transfer David and Jamie to a different college program than they were in. We don't know if funds were embezzled or what, but we were notified that they hadn't paid for tuition or books and we may end up having to cover those costs.  Meanwhile they recommended that we find alternative arrangements.  We're so thankful that God provided another program that's very similar, except they will need to attend Clackamas Community College rather than Mt. Hood.  The good news is that the new school has agreed to keep them at MHCC spring term as they are already registered and it would be difficult to switch now.  I was faxing all the paperwork over Thursday evening (before leaving Fri am) so that along with just alot of other details to organize and get in place before Larry and I (and my mom) leave for 8 days.  I think God's timing of this blessing for us is wonderful.

I may post a photo or two in the days ahead.  We appreciate your prayers for the homefront!

Love Janelle
